Logo Contest

The new version of the game will be such a radical shake up it has been suggested we revamp the logo.

Now, I'm fond of the BATracer logo - it was made by one of our players back in 2006 and has been with us ever since. It would be nice to keep it - but aside from the upcoming game changes there is another key factor that points towards a new design - mobile.

Be it on iOS or Android, app stores all demand a square logo, icon or symbol - the current logo does not translate to that particularly well. The full logo need not necessarily be square, but it should at least have some clearly recognisable graphic that will essentially become our emblem.

Do you have the skills or talent to create our new logo? It would be great if we could continue the theme of using a player-built design!

Requirements:

Square icon or design. Your design may be purely graphical, or include text. You could also create two designs, one which is the icon/graphic alone and a second design which also includes the BATracer name.

The original included three additional words of text describing the functionality of the game, it's up to you if you wish to follow suit or go for a simpler design.

The graphic should be clear, easily recognisable - and not fussy. Remember, this will become the icon used in the app stores for the mobile versions of the game.

The logo should not look out of place on our website. The original brief for the new website colour scheme was to echo that of the colours you may see at a race track... green grasses, grey or dark asphalt, maybe a blue sky. Brighter colours could be used at the designers discretion.
